About the Office

     Ossining Family Optometry was created with the intention of bringing superior eye care and all inclusive eye wear services to northern Westchester County while maintaining that small town, personable feel. Our mission is to provide every patient with personalized eye care using the latest technology to diagnose, monitor and treat various ocular conditions.  We understand that your time is valuable, so we strive to maximize your exam time and get you seeing clearer, quicker.

Dr. Brian Rodrigues
Dr. Brian M. Rodrigues, OD

      Dr. Brian Rodrigues  grew up in Cortlandt, NY where he graduated from The Harvey School.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lehigh University and  his Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry.  He completed the Irwin B. Suchoff Residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation at SUNY College of Optometry where he received extensive instruction on the diagnosis, treatment and management of visual symptoms relating to amblyopia, strabismus, and traumatic brain injuries.

     Growing up playing soccer, baseball and rugby, Dr. Rodrigues is an avid sports fan and enjoys learning about the different athletic activities his patients participate in. Through Dr. Rodrigues' vision therapy and sports vision programs, he has worked with patients and athletes to improve and enhance their visual and processing skills.

     Dr. Rodrigues is also a member of several national and local organizations that promote community and provide assistance to those in need.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, a national organization of optometry that is the leading authority on quality of care for vision and eye health among optometrists and optometric professionals. He is also an associate of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, an organization that is dedicated to improving quality of life through vision therapy and rehabilitation services to patients with visual and perceptual difficulties.   Recently, Dr. Rodrigues became a member of Rotary International in Ossining, NY, which create and participate in programs to fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene and support education across the world.
